What is premundial sub-17?

Premundial Sub-17 is a football competition organized by the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF). It is an international tournament for teams representing countries in the CONCACAF region with players who are under the age of 17.

The tournament serves as a qualifying event for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, with the top four teams advancing to the World Cup. The first Premundial Sub-17 was held in 1999, and the current format involves 16 teams competing in a group stage followed by knockout rounds.
